Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th of 2015 and received great reviews from music blogs as well as from the press. Half the World Away - by the Oasis - for John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole have already been two of the most notable covers the artist has done. The singer gained further attention via a blog post from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed the song Runaway. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard in her loft and being intrigued by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. He urged her not to pursue music solely to have fun or for the sake of growth but rather, she must explore it. She began writing her own songs. In addition to Bjork She also cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. Responding to her mother's suggestion that she ought not to aim at achieving fame through their songwriting skills, she instead recognize the significance of their lives as well as their contribution to society. When she began playing the piano, she was just six and started writing songs at the age of nine. It was not until she turned 14 that she revealed her plans to her parents. Aurora never dreamed of being famous. As she says, she just likes to write songs. Music is her favorite way to feel anything.
